Stepping out for the most glamorous night in D.C., Sophia Bush attended the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (April 27). The “One Tree Hill” actress chose a cream-colored Lela Rose sleeveless dress with floral decoration on the top and a long train.

Sophia also got to meet Connie Britton and posted about it on Instagram. Check out pics below. Thanks to Claudia for the HQ’s!

And it happened again. #nerdprom #Connie – She is everything, as beautiful inside as outside, and brilliant to boot. #whitehousecorrespondentsdinner

Here’s another nontraditional Valentine’s Day love story for you (although, it’s more in line with the holiday than, say, Lil Wayne‘s V-Day offering): Passion Pit‘s “Carried Away” music video. Sophia Bush (of One Tree Hill fame) stars with frontman Michael Angelakos in the the playful clip, detailing their relationship through the good times and the bad via subtitles. A rebellious and competitive Sophia Bush spends half her time being cute and spunky and the other half mad at her boyf, who goes to great lengths to apologize to her each time (“sorry” in skywriting — good luck topping that today, fellas).

Their angry words come back to haunt them (literally) at the end of the video, but they’re able to fight them off (again, literally), which seems fitting for this bouncy, upbeat track. We’ll leave it up to your Valentine’s Day mood to decide whether the happy ending means happily ever after.

Meeting a cute baby animal would be enough to make most people forget their surroundings and launch into an attack of cooing and gushing.

But Sophia Bush and her friend got so excited as they got up close and personal to a baby goat that it resulted in a somewhat embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

The 30-year-old actress spent Sunday visiting Los Angeles Farmers Market with a group of pals, and seemed positively delighted when she was handed the adorable animal for a cuddle.

Doting on the fluffy friend and grinning from ear-to-ear as she cradled her in her arms, the former One Tree Hill star appeared to be having a whale of a time as she enjoyed her day out at the market.

Posting a snap on her Twitter page of her snuggled up to super-cute ‘Janis’, Sophia said: ‘This is Janis. She is 4 days old. And she is my favorite part of the #FarmersMarket. #BuyLocal.’

Sophia Bush is a romantic at heart. Six months after Us Weekly broke the news that she and her on-and-off beau of six years, Austin Nichols, were no longer an item, the former One Tree Hill star, 30, opened up about her new life as a single woman at the Songbirds’ Miss Me album release party (hosted by ELLE magazine and Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland) in West Hollywood August 9.

“Being on my own has been amazing,” Bush said. “I don’t know if it’s coming into my thirties or what it is, but I’m such a sucker for love and I believe in it and I always want it to win. By nature, I think as women we are nurturers, we’re caretakers, and me in particular. . . I want to take care of everybody else. And to have spent so long now just taking care of myself and my girlfriends and enjoying that, it’s so good. I think it’s so important.”
Being on her own made Bush realize what she values most in a relationship.

“I don’t think you can really, truly be the partner you want to be until you know on an absolute level that you are a complete person on your own. I think that’s something all women deserve to know,” she explained. “So many fairytales we read as children — and the love stories we watch on TV when we’re older — tell us that we’re not enough unless we have man. And it’s like, ‘No, homie! You can be a bonus when I have time for you in my life.’”
Bush — who was briefly married to her One Tree Hill costar Chad Michael Murray, 30, in 2005 — said while she’s not actively looking for a boyfriend, her ideal man will be “altruistic,” “passionate about the world,” “educated, creative and inspiring.”

The actress was recently linked to actor Topher Grace, 34, though she previously debunked that romance rumor. “There’s this weird assumption that any time that people who have opposite body parts are hanging out, they’re having sex. It’s like first of all, no! It takes an awful long time to get the keys to the castle, thank you very much!” she laughed. “And second of all, why can’t I just have male friends?”
Bush doesn’t have much time for romance, anyway, given that her new CBS series, Partners, is slated to premiere September 24 at 8:30 p.m. EST. “It’s the dream! I wake up every day and pinch myself,” Bush told Us of her new TV gig. “I can’t believe this is my life!”

Sophia Bush told OnTheRedCarpet.com that she thinks fans will be satisfied with the upcoming ninth and final season of the CW’s “One Tree Hill.”

“I think everyone will be really happy. I thought they did such a great job, not knowing if we were finished at the ends of season 8. We created and crafted a finale that could be an end of show so I think that this is almost like a bonus,” Bush, who is known for her role as Brooke on the series, told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith at the Do Something Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. “We wrapped it up, we had the end and now we get 13 more weeks to tell a few more stories and show fans a little bit more of the things that they were really hoping to see and I think they’re going to love it.”

The cast of “One Tree Hill” is still filming the final season and are expected to wrap their 13-episode order by the holidays.

The Do Something Awards recognize celebrities for their contributions to charity and honor young people who are making a difference in their communities. Bush has been an advocate for environmental issues and hopes to continue her charity work when the long-running series wraps.

“I have so many trips planned with so many of the organizations that I work with so I plan on not working for a bit,” Bush said. “I plan on being abroad and really getting on the ground to a lot of the person that I try to lend satellite support to.”

It was announced in May that “One Tree Hill” would return for its final season, to air mid-season.

“One Tree Hill” premiered in September 2003 on The WB Network, which eventually merged with UPN to form The CW Network. The series, which is set in the fictional town of Tree Hill, North Carolina, follows the lives of two half-brothers, Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) and their relationships.
